Hey guys!

Just a media update today. We've been thinking about overhauling the section for awhile, but for now there are two new wallpapers made by our new staff member Kian and then 6 donated icons from Sophie. There is also 3 new sigs from Nina I added last week.

I just had to update and tell you guys that last month we reached 1,000,000 hits since we got here at DressLikeTaylor.net

We only check out statscounter periodically so we only just found out, and it just made me want to tell you all how much we appreciate everything. Every visit, every comment, every donation, every request. Everything means so much to us and it's all worth it when you guys email in to tell us about how our site helped you do your hair from Prom and stuff like that. That's we're a small part of so many big moments. We've been though a lot of rough patches this year, with lots of gaps in updating but you've stayed loyal to us and never complained and for that, we're eternally grateful.

We've always wanted this to be a place of inspiration, to follow the amazing, fearless example Taylor sets for us. So I've never wanted to have obtrusive adverts and that blocking up the site, even though it means that we don't make back the money it costs to host this website and it's enormous bandwidth. And seeing us get to 1,000,000 just makes it even more worth it.

You see me updating all the time with the random countries people sometimes visit from. So this is a huge thank you to every corner of the globe. To our usual American, British, Canadian, European and Australian viewers, to the people who come from Mayalsia, Singapore, Bhutan, UAE and all these other places.

And in my complete and utter happiness, this seems a good time to mention that we've selected our new staff members. I hope that along with Me, Emily and Nina, our new staff members get as much satisfaction out of the hard work that goes into this site as we do.

As you've read, we're looking for staff. We've found two people to fill two out of the three positions. We'll let everyone know as soon as possible, who the new staff members will be. They don't even know yet. (:

That's about it. I'll work on finding some guides, and getting more updates up, hopefully sometime soon.

Well me and Emily have been pondering this for awhile and we've decided to open up applications for new maker-finders here at dlt.net.

We're looking for three new staff members, two to join Nina as just ordinary match-makers to find and make guides for the site, and another to start finding clothes for guides on our new segment, Dress for Less, were we try to find cheap alternatives to some of Taylor's priciest clothes. This was something you guys requested when we asked for site tips, and the coding and layout has been done, we just need some guides to fill it with.

We're asking as a minimum for staff members to be available to find clothes for/make 5 guides per month which works about just a little over a guide a week. You can send in your application to dressliketaylor@aim.com. People who have experience in websites and/or making graphics are preferred but isn't not strictly necessary. Just lots of enthusiasm, a little time and a lot of love for Taylor.

In the email, please state your name, which position you are interested in and a little about yourself. It would also be useful to mention your timezone and how you came across the site.
